Summary

Sustainability is a broad discipline, including aspects of the human world from business to technology to the environment and the social sciences.

The field of environmental and business sustainability looks at reducing carbon emissions, discovering and developing the technologies of the future. Sustainability draws on politics, economics, philosophy and other social sciences as well as the hard sciences.

Sustainability skills and environmental awareness is a priority in many corporate jobs at the graduate level and as businesses seek to adhere to the new legislation as well as international best practices.
