Subject Matter Expert

Michelle Taylor Rebel started her career in banking which gave her a strong background in customer care as well as the financial services industry. She then worked for a development company specialising in new property developments for both freehold and sectional title, before establishing herself as an agent for second-hand residential properties. Michelle was recognised by the Nedbank Property Professional Awards as being amongst the top 10 agents in South Africa for two years consecutively. After 18 years in the real estate environment, Michelle shifted her knowledge and experience to empower others through training. Michelle is registered with the Services Seta to offer the accredited real estate courses which are now compulsory for those wanting to work in real estate.

Makulunge April studied at North-West University (VTC), completing undergraduate and post-graduate qualifications in financial accounting. After completing his studies, he worked as a marketer while still keeping a hand in academia as lecturer/facilitator and, later on, working in quality assurance as a moderator and examiner. Makulunge continued his passion for and appreciation of education by venturing into content development.

Moira Johnston obtained an LLB before completing articles at Fairbridges, Ardene and Lawton, where she focused primarily on commercial and conveyancing work, obtaining her conveyancing qualification while completing articles. She then took a year off and studied Psychology and Economics at Harvard University during their Summer School Program. On her return to South Africa, she joined Havemann Inc. Attorneys, a specialist oil and gas firm. During her two years there, she completed a master’s degree in Marine and Environmental Law at UCT. Since 2015 she has successfully been running her own business.
