JavaScript is the one of the most flexible and powerful programming languages. It enables dynamic web page behaviour, including this course page. This course will introduce you to JavaScript as a front-end development language, be introduced to programming concepts and structures that work in JavaScript as well as most other programming languages.

Subject Matter Expert

Subject Matter Expert John Brand has a background in various technical fields such as electronics, technical consulting, network management, marketing and visual design. Currently, John works as an User Experience(UX) Designer at BNRY Digital, where he works with various types of front-end and back-end developers. As a kid, John started programming in BASIC on his ZX Spectrum computer. As the internet evolved, John quickly taught himself new technologies of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Over time, John gained a broad experience in various front-end JavaScript libraries and also a few back-end server-side languages. John also keeps up to date with various web technologies and languages.
